Linda Chamberlain, Ph.D., CEO
Dr. Chamberlain has led strategic business and product development at Fortune 200, mid-sized and start-up companies for more than 25 years. Since 2005 she has specialized in life sciences through several opportunities: as Director with the Michigan Accelerator Fund-1, a venture capital fund serving Michigan-based life science companies, as Executive Director, of the West Michigan Science and Technology Initiative, a business accelerator focused on commercialization of life science products and technologies, and as leader of the West Michigan Medical Device Consortium. Dr. Chamberlain received both her BS and PhD in Chemistry from Purdue University and has 19 patents issued for catalyst, polymer, and product/process development. Dr. Chamberlain is currently serving on the boards of several start-ups and Frederik Meijer Gardens.

Finny Mathew, PhD, Director of Laboratory Operations
Dr. Mathew received his PhD in 2006 at the Nano-biosensors Laboratory at Michigan State University and afterwards began working in the early-stage biosensing company environment, first with Rapid Biosense, LLC, and then with nanoRETE, Inc. He has been Principal Investigator of Phase I/II SBIR’s with the Department of Defense and National Institutes of Health and US Department of Agriculture. He has authored 4 technical publications and has 3 patents (2 in prosecution) related to biosensors. 

Emma Setterington, MS, Scientist
Emma earned her Master of Science degree in Biosystems Engineering at Michigan State University under Dr. Evangelyn Alocilja. Her graduate work included development of novel nanomaterials for biosensor applications. She spent 2 years in industrial research and development of food safety diagnostics at Neogen Corporation, gaining experience in assay development, device design, market focus, and transfer of products to large-scale manufacturing. She has authored 4 technical publications and has 3 patents (2 of them in process) related to biosensor assays and materials.
